Ray fitted a B & C starter to reduce weight in his HD but also the sprag clutch in the original starter was not very reliable as they wear out & I believe are expensive to replace. I priced one locally and it came to $365.00. Now I am looking into a sky-tec starter that is lighter and slides right in at $512.00 -------- 601XL N676L reserved ALMOST DONE CHESAPEAKE VA Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=215851#215851 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 02:25:03 PM PST US From: "Peter W Johnson" Subject: RE: Continental-List: Re: 0-200 Starters Thanks Guys, I'm beginning to think the sky-tec is the way to go.
