RX is a replacement case that had holes and bosses for all various models of all years. Now that I am ready to start building my engine I am reading about installing a fifth bearing. I also see there might be a new crank shaft available, 4340 billet. My question is, how much more will his add to the cost of building a corvair engine? Are we starting to enter into the same price range as a used 0-200? I tried this route answering ads in Barnstormers.com. The cost of the MA3-SPA carb that WW recommends gives you a taste of how expensive the rest of an O-200 can be.
