New to the list.
I live in north central FL, and have an opportunity to attend the CORSA show
in Jacksonville in July. Clarks will be there. I have a '64 core that I
am thinking of converting for use in a planned Pietentpol. Have the William
W. plans and books..but have not looked at them in some time.
My question.. to take advantage of having some face to face time with
Clarks.. what parts do you recommend I would HAVE to purchase for the
rebuild? Asking as I'm told that Clarks will offer some good rates if you
pre order, pay in cash, and pick up the parts at one of their shows.
Considering cam, cylinders, gasket kits, etc. Wanted to place an order and
get the positively needed items from Clarks and save some $$.

Mark,
I would suggest also contacting William Wynne as he is the expert in the
field of Corvair Conversions and is extremely familiar with Pietenpol
conversions as well. He also might have some suggestions regarding the
use of your 64 engine.
