Nelson, The Marvel Schebler MA-3a is probabbly the most common Carb. on corvair conversions. It's prefered because it has an accelerator pump and therefore doesn't require a primer system. I have run several corvairs with this carb. It works very well. I hope this helps, Brady ----- Original Message ----- From: "CorvairEngines-List Digest Server" <corvairengines-list@matronics.com> <corvairengines-list-digest@matronics.com> Sent: Friday, March 28, 2014 11:55 PM Subject: CorvairEngines-List Digest: 1 Msgs - 03/28/14 > * > > ================================================= > Online Versions of Today's List Digest Archive > ================================================= > > Today's complete CorvairEngines-List Digest can also be found in either of > the > two Web Links listed below. There are over 50 Marvel-Schebler MA-3 carburetor models and there is only one that is ideally suited to the Corvair. The preferred one is MA-3SPA 10 -4894. There are others that can be converted, but that is for those who r eally know what they are doing.
