Fuel mixtures

      I have an '82 vette with the crossfire ignition.
      As an amateur chemist, I have tampered with fuel mixtures in gocarts and other
      items.
      I have mixed high quality lighter fluid and kerosene with 92 octane fuel in the
      past with tremendous results.
      I have tried this mix in my corvette and achieved discernably greater power.  Are
      there any complications that could result from this?

      Tom,   The only harm I can think off  is maybe the Catalytic Converter could
      eventually become useless. I live in Ohio and most Converters seemed to have
      fallen off mysteriously!!
