I've restored the suspension, and brakes and the had the car stripped and repainted the original color. Otherwise, everything else works as it came from the factory. Even the Air works! It's an early '77 coupe with four speed. I figure it's about 1 out of 220 made with the combination I have in it. It's a nice driver during the summer. The only change I've made from original is that I've changed out the original 3.73 gears for 3.08 to get a little better mileage as I've had to stop twice as often as for gas as the newer vettes. I don't miss the slower acceleration as it didn't go that fast in the first place. I've had this ride for over twenty years. My next one will be a C5. I agree with the rest. Don't mix models.
