Finding out the gear ratio is fairly straightforward. Here's the equation.
Gear Ratio Tire Radius
RPM
168
MPH

Bob

Thanks for the formula. It tells me I have a 4.42:1
ratio. I`ll have to get the tape measure out to check
the tire diameter for sure and the speedo is suspect
but it confirms a low rear end. I was pretty certain
it would be a 4 number. There`s probably a stamp or
code somewhere that says, but the formula is neat to
know.
