This is good info.I'll spend the money and get the struts.
I know about stitts process, and I favor the poly tone type as I have seen
the need for easy repair on a floatplane.
I had a 7ccm champ on these edo's, loved it,but the time came to overhaul
it and it was wrecked by the fool who worked on it, and he gave me this cub. I
took the rating in a cub at Flagler Beach, and I didn't even remember it untill
the 1300 gross was mentioned.I remember we had to get some addition wrong to
stay under the 1300. I like light weight, every ounce counts.
Off the record, what might a cub lift in gross weight? We, of course,
would never violate an FAR, but I'll bet someone has heard. Del.
