It's a small small world. I grew up on a farm near Augusta... (between Macomb and Quincy). The 46 J-3 is s/n 18005 and was on a set of Edo 1320s in CANTON IL when a wind storm tipped one wing into the river.... that's how Dad came to get it for $175. Nothing other than a bent strut or two... and an ugly muddy mess. BTW, they wanted $500 for the floats! Years later I said.... "Dad.... dog-gone-it..... why didn't you buy those floats too?" You can guess the answer.... "Son, I didn't have $175 dollars let alone another $500!" Probably not too far from you is Central Air Parts - Staunton IL. Bob Wilhoit is a friend from college days. Anybody looking for parts should _be sure_ to give Bob a call... he is in TAP, and at www.centralairparts.com. Stan... thanks so much for your kind offer to purchase our family heirloom for "double its original purchase price".... $350. I'll add your offer to the STACK of similar offers! HA! Hear that one all the time! larry - ATL ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:42:28 AM PST US From: "Cy Galley" Subject: Re: Cub-List: Greetings - new to list --> Cub-List message posted by: "Cy Galley" http://www.cent-air.com/ works for Central AirParts ----- Original Message ----- From: "larrybojac" Subject: Cub-List: Greetings - new to list > --> Cub-List message posted by: "larrybojac" > > Phil in Litchfield ... > > > It's a small small world.
