--> Czech-List message posted by: "Roger Lee" <ssadiver1@yahoo.com> Hi, Before you buy an Allegro you need to look at the CTSW. I just bought a CTSW. www.flightdesignusa.com or type in CTSW on the search engine. I looked at the Allegro and it's a nice plane, but no comparison to the CTSW. There is a huge difference in the specs. To name a few differences: faster top end carries its own weight in useful load 34 gal. fuel, over 1080 miles on a tank 110 lbs. bagage storage 49 in. wide cockpit adjustable seat (fore/aft, up/down) easy entry into cockpit 14:1 glide ratio the list goes on and on. --> Czech-List message posted by: "Roger Lee" <ssadiver1@yahoo.com> Hi All, The price starts at 92k. The price sheets are on the web site. On the Flight Design web site look under dealers, then open their web sites and they have price sheets and lots of pics on each site. I flew one and it was a really nice aircraft. It handles nice, plus I'm not a little guy and we took off at over an 8k desity altitude and we just leaped in the air. It just takes off by itself. If you type in CTSW you can find lots of stuff written about the CTSW. You can also find forums. In 4 months of research I have not found one bad thing about them. I believe in the Aug. issue of "Kitplane" magazine it is called the top selling LSA in the U.S. If not the Aug. issue then look in July issue. It is factory built, you do no building. You can get just about any type of instrument panel you want. I got a Dynon D100 and D120 glass panel set up. You can get leather seats if you want. Comes with a BRS chute as standard equipment. A lot of things on this plane are standard equipment while other mfgs. offer everything as options, plus Flight Design uses good stuff. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. I didn't see a price while on their web site. CTSW vs Sport Cruiser High wing (better visability) Low wing wing span very close length 20' and some " 21' and some " empty weight approx. 680 lbs. 705 lbs. useful load approx. 680 lbs. 615 lbs. cabin width 49" 46" climb rate 800 - 1,000fpm 1,000 - 1,200 fpm fuel 34 gal. 30 gal. vne 192 mph 150 mph range 1080 miles (longer) 745 nm adjustable seats(fore/aft, up/down) i don't think they move lots off leg room for even long legs more cramped large seperate cargo hold 110 lbs. luggage behind your head (smaller area) very easy access into plane more confined -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az.
