I guess, despite the factory recommendations, I don't understand why you would want to pump a quart of dirty oil in with all that clean oil? -- Best regards, Freddie mailto:lists@stevet.net ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 09:23:58 PM PST US From: "Terence Gannon" Subject: Engines-List: Fuel Price Database --> Engines-List message posted by: "Terence Gannon" 'Listers -- Is anybody on the the Engines-List aware of any source of information on retail aviation fuel prices, both current, and perhaps some historical trends as well. Those of you following the RV-List will remember that there was a discussion of the use of the new generation of European diesels in North America, and the general feeling as that they were less attractive in NA due to the lower differential between Avgas and Jet A. But I haven't actually been able to find any data that quantifies that data. If I could, I thought that I would run some basic economics that would help to substantiate/disprove the validity of diesels on this side of the pond. Anybody with any information in this regard, or any comment in general, by all means, have at it! Thanx. Terry in Calgary RV-6 S/N 24414 "Wings (Just Passed Last Pre-Close Inspection!!)"
