They aren't as sophistocated as integrated auto systems but particularly the Lightspeed is worlds better than standard mags. You can really lean that engine out with Klaus' ignition. I'm running both. Ellison prohibits the use of auto fuel with their unit...something about seal breakdown...you would think that they could adapt the seals to resist fuel additives...go figure... Anyone have success running the Ellison with auto fuel? Mine runs fine on 96 octane mogas with no detonation or vapour lock problems but I do have heat protection on all under-cowl fuel lines The above came from Down Under. In the USA, I usually see only 87, 89, and 91 octane. Are we measuring octane on the same scale, and does 100LL have an auto fuel equivalent? Don do not archive
