This propeller was designed for the Lycoming 360 engine only. No mid range RPM restriction on any Lycoming 360 engine. Check out my website www.lessdrag.com for details. Click on "Lycoming 360 engine", or "MT Propeller" (The website is still under development. I would appreciate any constructive suggestions.) Jim Ayers Less Drag Products, Inc. It is leaking oil out the front seal. It wasn't leaking the first few hours as we have had the cowl off and on many times keeping a good look at things. It is at the crankshaft/seal intersection, and wondered if this is from running high rpm/manifold pressure while breaking in this engine? The rear plug was pierced and a new plug was placed in the front. It is not leaking at the front plug. Any suggestions? Or the lip was damaged during installation when it was stretched over the crank flange. Just replace it. Heat the seal in a hot oil bath of about 180F or so and stretch it over the flange with your fingers. Lube it up good with oil of Parker O-ring lube and on the crank. Also inspect the flange for any nicks, etc. that could damage the seal and smooth them with fine emery cloth.
