An article on AvWeb states that ATP's turbine cranks out roughly 200 hp at slightly over 13 gph. This would mean that they have achieved an efficiency on par with a piston engine. Any thoughts as to how this unbelievable accomplishment was pulled off? A normal turbine engine would melt down at this fuel to power ratio. They claim it all has to do with their injection system they designed. They also calculate the HP by thrust last I heard. I would really like them to succeed but they have been awfully quiet lately. I think someone will have a handheld hydogen fuel cell or pocket size nuclear reactor before these guys get anything in production. Brad
