There is one light, 12V, widely available electrical oil pump that could be used
as a preoiler: an ABS brake pump. The one on my Range Rover looks like it would
be just what is needed.
Anybody tried it before? If it works ok, then you can have one for a few bucks
in any car salvage yard...
