Subject: Seeking 8 foot Wooden Propeller Advice

A friend of mine and customer of yours has referred me
to you.
I'm trying to figure out what plane this propeller I
have is apart of, my best guess is that it is a
Fairchild propeller (simply based on looks), but I
can't seem to find any sound proof of that. Can you
help me verify? The numbers that are carved into the
wood of the propeller are 762-71 A.E.261. What do the
numbers indicate?
If, in fact, this artifact is from a fairchild any
idea how much it would be worth?
