--> Engines-List message posted by: "Emrath" <emrath@comcast.net> Where does one purchase these nuts and internal star washers? I see ACS has the washers but cannot find the nuts other than "exhaust nuts" are these the same for use on Mags and other accessories? Are these the same as "grade 8" nuts that are available at Lowe's and Home Depot? Marty -----Original Message----- From: owner-engines-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-engines-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Dave Durakovich Subject: Engines-List: Parts manual for Lyc O-360-A1A --> Engines-List message posted by: Dave Durakovich <ddurakovich@yahoo.com> OK, I'm rebuilding O-360-A1D, standard flange, circa 1963 vintage for use in a RV-4. All component parts have been overhauled or replaced with new new ones, and it's time to slap it back together. Cleaning up the case/sump/acces. cover bolts leaves me with a collection that probably doesn't have an AN bolt in the lot! All are standard nut with star washers. I'm reasonably sure that some of these bolts came from the Aviation department at Home Depot! Not being sure if this is OK (I'm going to replace with new AN as soon as I can figure out what I really need), I've decided to break down and get a parts manual. Yeah, I know it's experimental and I can do what I want, but what I really want is to build it up the way a reputable overhaul shop would. I keep seeing a 1980 version parts manual, 1985 version, etc., etc., etc., and just don't have any idea of which would apply, or what the difference is. HELP! Is the earliest the right one, the latest, or ??? HELP! Thanks, Dave

Try SACRAMENTO SKYRANCH (JOHN SCHWANER) 800-433-3564 916-421-7672 http://www.sacskyranch.com Their "Sky Ranch Engineering Manual" is a good reference book to have too.
