 Have a lycoming o-235 that needs a 3/4 inch breather hose------did you guys 
just use automotive heater hose to vent out the bottom cowl or does this take 
a special application hose?  If so, what is it and were could I purchase it?

Brad,

Oil will brittle most automotive hoses. Try one that is okayed for oil. I
picked up some hoses at a hydraulics shop.

MIL-H-6000 is the approved hose on certified aircraft and I would recommend 
it.  Try Aircraft Spruce.

htr hose is heavy - I used a short bent piece and alum tubing.

Brad,
Don't use automotive heater hose, hot lube oil will ruin it.
If you want to use automotive parts, use EEC hose, it is safe for fuel and hot
engine oil.
