Spent my Junior year in the Midlands a long, long time ago. A pint of
bitter, a Ploughman's lunch, and great company got me through many an
afternoon, and this is one Yank who loves both your (ex)country and its
warm beer. Warm beer is a taste not to be wasted on an uneducated
palate. But a friend who was a sports car mechanic agreed with the
Lucas assessment--bitched about them many times.

Can you use that stuff for fuel? If not then it's hardly worth talking about?
Know what I mean?

I've got 2 friends on the field who got theirs converted. Both extremely
pleased. I think they used http://www.airplains.com/index.html but won't
swear to it. I've flown in their planes and along side and the performance
gain is amazing.

If it's an older one with a Continental, you might want to check on a
Franklin conversion. I heard a rumor that there is now an STC for the
350 ci engine & it's supposed to fit without cowl mods. Should be a lot
cheaper than a new Lyc, too.
