Hi
Does anyone know were i can get hold of a suitable wing tip cover that will
fit over the XS wing tip
A manufacturer and part No would be great.
Cheers
Phil Tait UK551#
Hi Phil
I am just now in the process of making my own acrylic glas wingtip covers
for XS-wings. They are big enough to cover the whelen "A-650-PG/PR Wingtip
pos. strobe light assy. ind the wingtip leading edge, but could be trimmed
for smaller light assys.
As I made a mould for the lenses, I will be able to produce them in some
numbers.
If you are interested just let me know.
It would take approx. another couple of months before I could deliver them.

Hi! Hans-Peter,
I'm interested as to how near to being suitable for the original MKI wing
tip lens they are?
I could need some spare ones in stock in the event of my existing ones
cracking and attempts to research the original ATL Gold Wing suppliers have
proved fruitless.
I hope to be at the Swiss Rally at Molliss in August.
Also whilst on the subject of ATL Gold Wing for UK interested parties to
note the original straight strobe bulb for their fin mount can be
satisfactorily replaced by a bulb from Maplins.
It is also possible for a system for replacing the 4 wire system of the Gold
Wing with an Aero World Fin 3 wire supply.
Regards

Paul,
Hang them from the hinges such that you can get to both sides.
Don't forget to tape off the hinges so paint does not get on them.

Hello Bob
I don't know how different the wingtip of the classic wing is, so I can't
give you any hints if they would fit.
I'll keep the adresses of all who showed interest in the lenses and will
keep you informed.
