--> Europa-List message posted by: "david.corbett" <david.corbett@fwi.co.uk> I read messages earlier last week about the above countries. I am flying my Europa to join a UK organised flying tour of the Baltic States, leaving UK on Saturday (weather permitting), and returning via Sweden and Odense Denmark to visit Nils Kock the following weekend. We propose to stay on Saturday night in Groningen (highly recommended by members of our Aero Club here at Shobdon), but I am curious to know whether, from Holland, I can fly direct to an airfield in Germany which is not an airport of entry - Anklam. I have been told that because both countries are Schengen agreement countries, there is no need to go to an airport of entry. Any comments or other tips on or off forum would be much appreciated. Many thanks, David G-BZAM UK 265

    Subject: yet another apology
--> Europa-List message posted by: Rowland & Wilma Carson <rowil@clara.net> I've been offline for an unexpectedly long time - a job on my PowerBook that was supposed to take a couple of hours went on for several days, and then I had to re-install applications and restore documents to the freshly-formatted hard disc. (Still didn't get what was needed - if anyone can tell me how to upgrade the firmware on my Pansonic UJ-815 DVD drive from D0C4 to DOCB I'd love to hear from you so I can get my backups working properly!) Anyway, the point is I haven't been able to respond to e-mails or membership applications for some days and will take a while getting through the backlog. If you are waiting for a reply from me, please be patient for a little while longer - I will get there eventually. regards Rowland -- | Rowland Carson Europa Club Membership Secretary | Europa 435 G-ROWI (550 hours building) PFA #16532 EAA #168386 | e-mail <memsec@europaclub.org.uk> website <www.europaclub.org.uk>

06/03/2003 05:42:22 PM --> Europa-List message posted by: irampil@notes.cc.sunysb.edu Hi Joe! Looks like the new paint shop is going to pan out, so to speak. Tailplanes already filled, sanded, blocked and primed. My fuse should be ready to go over there in about a week. I guess I know about 20 Europa builders who could use this service if they keep up the good work! Looks like, with luck I can stay out of the heat ;-) Ira N224XS (Panel In, Lit up, no smoke !)
