Yes I have the Aeroelectric circuit for PM generator OV protection.
Rotax says 25V cap, but if a battery is connected the capacitor isn't
accomplishing much. The battery should suppress any transients far
better. If the battery is disconnected, then what the capacitor is
intended to accomplish and what ratings are adequate is conjecture with
a regulator of unknown design.
I am very close to finish painting, and have just acquired a flatbed
trailer. Hopefully soon now!
