Hi
Went over my engine last night, with particular focus on the
muffler/turbocharger according to above mentioned ASB-914-028R from
Rotax.
Everything was fine, but one thing disturbed my sleep last night - I
did not find any part og serial No. on my muffler as mentioned on page
1 and 4 on the ASB......
You other gays flying with the same engine - did you all find these
figures???
Regards Gert

to the 914T ?

The mechanical pump does not create enough pressure to overcome the boost from
the turbo.
So bascially the air pressure would be higher than the fuel pressure & no fuel
would come out of the jet.

The airframe wiring harness sold as an option by the Europa factory must
have made by the friendly folks known in the States as Lucas Lord of
Darkness. Having just begun installation of the harness I found that one of
the #4 cables (from the firewall feed through to the engine ground / earth)
was carelessly assembled. The lug on one end was neither soldered nor
crimped to attach it to the cable incredibly, nothing more than a snug fit
and a bit of shrink tubing was holding the lug in place. Now I must check
every connector lug in the harness, because I dont dare trust any of them
to have been assembled correctly.
Best regards,
Rob Housman
