--> Europa-List message posted by: "Andy Draper" <andy@europa-aircraft.com> Hi Karl, It sounds like the regulator is faulty. If you are unable to restrict the over vac at cruise power then it sounds to be jammed in the fully closed position. Regards Andy >>> "KARL HEINDL" <kheindl@msn.com> 18/09/03 18:59:11 >>> --> Europa-List message posted by: "KARL HEINDL" <kheindl@msn.com> Dear Andy, Thanks for the reply. Good to know that the regulator is adjustable, but any number of turns (of that spring loaded shaft in the centre) to the left or right makes no difference. At idle the needle is below the green, in the cruise way past it. I need to borrow a gauge from somewhere so I can isolate the problem. --> Europa-List message posted by: EuropaXSA279@aol.com Thanks to all for the response on the scales VS the pump issue. I'm leaning to the scale. I also think the mustard and catsup squeeze bottles with the snap tight cap are an excellent idea for final measuring. Thanks again Brian Skelly #A279 In a boat someplace on The Pond. < hopefully>

--> Europa-List message posted by: RiteAngle3@aol.com Hello Europa aircraft builders. I know I have a lot of customers out there in your ranks. If you are building an aircraft or flying your aircraft with the RiteAngle AOA system I would appreciate personal photos of installation and comments, positive or negative sent to me off list. Please state model of aircraft, hours flown with RiteAngle AOA system and any suggestions. We are aware of some problems with turbulence from the outrigger housing causing an unsteady vane on some Europa Monogear aircraft, and have a suggested remedy for this problem should you have it. Please contact me for information off line. Those who have questions re AOA please also contact me off list. I don't want to use the list unless questions are asked that would apply to all. address for contact: riteangle3@aol.com There are several hundred RiteAngle systems out there and many owners have changed e-mail addresses. Subject: Fuel flow measurement for 914
--> Europa-List message posted by: "Paul McAllister" <paul.mcallister@qia.net> Hi all, I have a Grand Rapids EIS with the fuel flow option and I doubt if it will work in its current configuration. The 914 has an integrated manifold for fuel in and fuel return. I can see no way of measuring flow without having to compensate to the return flow. Has anyone had any experience using the EIS system and there fuel flow sensor on a 914 installation ? Thanks & regards, Paul

Subject: Last of the Summer Wine - Trip to France - 26 / 29 September
--> Europa-List message posted by: "William Mills" <combined.merchants@virgin.net> I thought it might be nice to have an impromptu, long weekend, end of season trip to France (if the good weather holds). At this time of year there will be no problem with accommodation, so we can tour what ever region takes our fancy. I am suggesting Friday 26th to Monday 29th September. We could meet up at Dieppe and then go on to Chauvigny for Friday night. Anyone interested, please drop me an e-mail, or phone on 01495 785 499. Best wishes, William
