You may be able to negotiate with Lisa (on 01962 774390 in Hampshire) for the sale of just the pump. Dave Watts > Is there anyone out there in the UK who has a resin pump they no longer require? If so I'd very much like to buy it. I'm aware that the latest batch of pumps from America have been found to be defective, so an old type is what I'm after. Here's hoping. > Nigel Harrison #584 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:31:51 AM PST US From: "Alan Stills" Subject: Europa-List: Dynon EFIS --> Europa-List message posted by: "Alan Stills" Dave, I purchased the Dynon and am very please with the way it fits into the Instrument panel. Turned on right out of the box.(With the Lithium back up's) I haven't flown with it yet as I'm a long ways from completion but if you go to the RV list on matronics and do a subject view you will see quite a few comments on it. I must say--all very positive including customer service. This is just the best piece of equipment you can put in a panel that I have seen. There is no lag time, it's very easy to read and just plain cool looking!! Remember I flew his plane without the benifit of knowing all about the guage or even reding a manual. The menus are really easy to use - even without a book, and the display is logical and dosen't require any thinking. Now - where is MY christmas list....... When I sought the 428-3VG at a nearby repair shop they did not know of them. I was referred to the latest (8th September 1998) US Advisory Circular AC 43.13 - 1B. This shows on Page 7-34 that for copper oval sleeve stock number 28-2-G, as issued with the kits, plated sleeves are required on stainless cable due to electrolysis. It seems to me that the Europa News could have pointed out that the FAA recommends use of the factory supplied sleeves and hence the need to use the other sleeves 428-3VG must indeed be very modest indeed as this size is not even shown in the table in the FAA Advisory Circular. It would seem a good idea to at least advise where the part number originates and make more clear how insignificant is the need for change. Flight was from Andrewsfield, Essex, UK. Everything working well, just a few adjustments needed (idle, throttle friction. gear knob) before the next phase of the test flying. After 7 years 10 months building I am delighted! My thanks to my inspectors (Bob Boyt and John Barratt) , staff at Europa (especially Neville and Andy) for support over the years, and to the Europa club and this list as an invaluable source of information and support. And to my wife Rachel for letting me get away with this project! According to my records, as supplied by Europa in Jan 2002, aircraft ZK-NWM (ex N13NM) now flying in NZ is kit #219. It maintained the UK numbering system. It was completed and test flown in the US and shipped to NZ. His second kit was purchased in the US using the A numbering system. With the airframe nearly completed, it was shipped to his Canadian address. It was then returned to Tiger Aviation in North Carolina for finishing and Jabiru 3300 installation. Upon completion returned to his Canadian address. It had never flown. Bob Berube ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony S.
