Once I had installed the cable it was a relatively simple task to reinstall the cable so that it ended up in its original position. You'll find that using a cablesafe with 3/16" sleeve will give you a nice and tidy firewall penetration for the cable. Tony

Sand the other blades to match,[ I normally round off the trailing edge, in ''plan view'', and put a 1/16'' radius on the end] check with your thumbnail to see if there is a crack in ''the endgrain''. Finnish with W&D paper of about 800 grit, and then seal the raw end with a lick of epoxy. Use a digital scale to check individual blade weights, Warp Drive supply them within 0.5 gram, no reason not to get to 0.2 if your scales read that small ? Mask off the last 3'' or so of the blade, and paint the tips a nice colour , with more coats on the lighter ones to get the weights even. Hope this will help ? The question now is : Is this significant? Do I make the other blades look like this? Do I not worry about it till I balance the prop and take care of it with prop hub weights? You need to attach a large washer about 25mm in diameter to a 5 mm machine screw about, 25 mm long. I used the large washers supplied with the kit for spreading the load when bolting to glassfibre. I used a countersunk machine screw, drilled a countersunk hole in the washer, then welded across the screw head and ground it flat. Then remove the remains of the feeble plastic screw from the vent, and sand the vent flat. Run a 5mm tap through the plastic knob that you turn to operate the vent. I suspect that you don't even need to do this if you haven't got a tap to match your screw - the machine screw will probably cut its own thread. Stick a double sided adhesive pad on the washer. The ones sold by automotives parts stores to attache mirrors to windscreens are ideal, or double sided foam tape. Screw the machine screw into the plastic, slide the vent cover in, and turn the knob to push the screw against the cover. Voila! About 30 minutes work and performs perfectly. Hope this makes sense - it is easier to do than describe! Rear buck head is flanged, Baggage bay and baggage bay supports are flanged and removable right now. Wiring runs done, Tail wheel mod going in. Pitch stops are set. Antennas are set. Fuel drains gascolator going in. If I not missing any thing, I can put the top on. Then put the baggage bay in with redux and never go furtherer than leaning over the seat back. : ) Steved.

Some have updated their aircraft data too, and as a result we are now well over 40,000 hours total for the Europa fleet. But I only have hours data for 184 of the 269 Europas known to have flown so far! Take a look at the "flying aircraft" page under the "europa" heading on the Club page <http://www.europaclub.org.uk> and see if the total for your aeroplane is up-to-date. I had an old diesel car which stood for a year ir more. The fuel in the tank accumulated some white sludge, which must have been this fungus. That was in the UK. Additional advice for pre-finishing before putting the top on: complete almost all of the interior finishing, i.e. stick on the headliner material with the top inverted, stick on all of the wall lining in the footwells and the baggage area. Leave excess material along the edges to be joined and trim later. But leave the side re-enforcements from the top of the seat to the window frame until after the top is on and with the wings attached. Pre-paint the door surrounds.
