       Hi All,
In theory, yes, in practice, no.
You can weigh the blades on two scales, one at each end, to get matching end weights,
as you would do when balancing a con rod [ and thus matching total weight]
but trimming off a few grams in the same place on all three blades,it isn't
going to be that far out anyway.
On my F2A control line speed model, I have a ONE BLADE prop, with a lead counter
balance held captive in a steel housing, on a good day that runs at 39,000
      RPM.............
      Cheers,
      Nev.

Remember though, the position of the CG of the blade is just as important.
If it is not identical on each blade the prop won't balance, even if the
      blade weights are identical.

There is a way to check but it needs a special jig which pivots the blade
at a position relative to the axis of the prop, then weigh and record the
weight at a position roughly (it isn't critical) 60% diameter. That is what
must be identical for a dynamically balanced prop.

If you have an Arplast, there is hole down the middle of the blade for
adding lead to adjust dynamic balance.

Flying behind a well balanced prop, and spinner! is a revelation. If you
ever get offered a ride in our Chairman's Europa you will be amazed..

I must complain strongly regarding this non politically correct action on an
obviously physically handicapped propeller. Have you no decency Sir! Am I
observing a typical Right Wing stance on cruelty to everything.

Guilty as charged, I have had the piece of lead captive in the steel housing for
about three years now, with no food, water or legal representation. When the
woman from Amnesty International came around, I squirted her in the eye with
      Super Glue.

I called John Hurst today and placed my order for a Tri-gear kit.

Soon I will be among the ranks of the builders and out of the lookers and
      tire kickers!

I am sure many, many, many questions will follow.

Thanks in advance for all the advice.

      OK here are the stats.
I live in Everett WA between Cliff Shaw and Bob Jacobsen.
I will be receiving the Tri gear standard wing with the Hi-top #64 mod as I
am 6'2". I sat in Bob Jacobsen's mono and found that the door could not
close. I will be building in my 36'x 36' shop (soon to be completed).I
originally wanted to build a Rotorway helo, my wife said "No way"! She said
it had to be the Europa. I guess now I will have to learn how to build a web
      page.
      Thanks All
