| Hi all,
|
| Can someone tell me when the tank drains down to empty on one side leaving
only the reserve left, on what side is the reserve fuel sitting, assuming
that the fuel selector is on "Main".
|
| Thanks, Paul
Paul,
I did a measuring test on the empty fuel tank for A064. If the tank
is the same, both sides below the tunnel hold a 11 litres (one hour) - I put
the test results in John Cliff's records at
http://www.crixbinfield.freeserve.co.uk/europa.htm if you want hem.
Cheers, Ferg

Gidday tri gear owners,
I am keen to find out the ideal length of the levers. I was once told I
think 6" from pivot to hole for handle, but I'd like that verified. Also,
I'd like to know as well the height most recommended for knuckle clearance
etc from the top of the tunnel, that will predetermine the depth of which I
mount the master cylinders. I have a module not yet in my a/c, and even
when I rest it in place my cross bracing does not allow me the opportunity
to sit in and determine the ideal position, so location is also an issue,
so I might just have to take an educated guess on that one, unless a
suggestion or two comes my way. So, if anyone has any dimensions handy, I'd
love them.

Thanks to all those who've submitted updates for the Europa Fleet
Hours web page, and of course thanks to all those who renewed their
EuropaCLub membership at the same time! The total is now 41739 hours
over 186 aircraft, but still those 83 aircraft with unknown hours
stand out.
For example, does anyone know which Europa is the one being
advertised by "Malcolm" in Popular Flying with a Colchester (01206)
phone number and "930 hours"? I can't find an aircraft in my records
that matches the (skimpy) information in the ad. (No, I don't plan to
ring up the seller - I'm sure he doesn't want time-wasters!)
Keep the data coming!
regards
Rowland

Tony
I am currently using the original brake master cylinders in the centre
console. Originally it was set up using two "Mono" brake levers, but that
didn't provide enough leverage. Now it has a trigear -foot-pedal level (not
straight) on the end of the straight mono levers.
It works well enough, but takes quite a big pull. As the platform inside was
set up for the mono levers the two bolts joining the levels together are
above the top of the console.
I am planning to use the Mod 65 dual master cylinder and have had permission
now to combine my original mod platform with the mod 65 master cylinders.
The levers for that will be an experiment when I see what I get when I buy
them !
I can measure it all up for you if you want.

--> Europa-List message posted by: "Robert Berube" <bberube@tampabay.rr.com>
Dear Builders,
For those of you that have not been to Flight Crafters or to a previous Open
House, maps will be available at the Europa Display. In case you miss
getting one, here are some basic directions.
From the Show, take County Line Rd. North to Interstate 4. West on
Interstate 4 to Exit 10. South at Exit 10 1 block to Hwy 92 and turn left.
1 mile East on Hwy 92 to Parsons (traffic light) and turn right. South on
Parsons =BC Mile. There is a Housing Sub-Division on the left that has a
white fence line. Just at the end of the fence line is the entrance to
Flight Crafters. We will have a Flight Crafters Barbecue sign at the
entrance.
Look forward to seeing everyone.
Regards,
Bob Berube

Subject: | Europa Finger Brake Master Cylinder Brand???? |
--> Europa-List message posted by: Tony Renshaw <tonyrenshaw@optusnet.com.au>
Gidday,
I have a Europa dual cylinder master cylinder for finger brakes, but it is
not stamped with a manufacturers name, and therefore I cannot find out what
type of lubricant is OK to put down the bores to loosen things up, and also
for the future I'd like to find out who can supply seals, and how to gain
access to them. So, any ideas???? Anyone else who has installed these in a
Classic module, I'd like to hear from.
