--> Europa-List message posted by: "David Joyce" <davidjoyce@doctors.org.uk> Mattias, I was having a senior moment - the fuel tank, of course is not forward of the spar but above and behind. I don't think that affects the argument though. To make the Europa a workable 4 seater I guess you need a longer fuselage to give a greater range of allowable C of G David Joyce----- Original Message ----- From: "David Joyce" <davidjoyce@doctors.org.uk> Subject: Re: Europa-List: Wing tanks > --> Europa-List message posted by: "David Joyce" <davidjoyce@doctors.org.uk> > > Mattias, The normal fuel tank is in front of the spars, but behind the C of > G mid range, so that filling up the tanks puts the C of G back. more of a > snag with the idea of making it a 4 seater is that luggage puts the Cof G > back considerably more because of the greater moment arm. They stock Aeroquip Firesleeve and a full range of fuel fittings, hoses, tubing etc. should you need them. As I mentioned when I called in, you are very welcome to have a peep at my aeroplane should you wish. (and a pole around, too!) Regards, Ron.

--> Europa-List message posted by: "Kevin Klinefelter" <kevann@gte.net> Thanks Tony, cablesafe it is then. One for the firewall and two for intake housing. Too late on the good advice of marking the cable and servo actuator. I pulled the cable off a while ago to mount the servo on the tunnel. Crap. I did manage to hang on to the spring! Thanks again, Kevin Hoping to fly by spring (season) -----Original Message----- From: owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-europa-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Tony Krzyzewski Subject: RE: Europa-List: 914 wastegate cable routing --> Europa-List message posted by: "Tony Krzyzewski" <tonyk@kaon.co.nz> >> Is this a job for those cable safe things I see in the 'spruce catalog? Yes, a cablesafe works really well with the wastegate cable. You'll need the 3/16" insert to capture the cable properly. As you'll need to disconnect the cable from the servo to do this ensure that you clearly mark the cable and servo actuator to get the cable back to the same spot when you reassemble it. --> Europa-List message posted by: "Tim Butterworth" <Tim.Butterworth@CVLUK.COM> I am planning to be up and about on Sunday ..... but more likely stopping off somewhere within 45 minutes of Leicester rather than being too adventurous. I have engine issues and the last place I am going is over the Channel right now!
