Due to other commitments I have need to sell my XS monowheel Kit.
All the flying surfaces have been professionally built but not filled.
The wings are complete but not covered and the cockpit module is finished
but not Reduxed in to the 'canoe' lower fuselage. The windscreen and panels
are clear for safety reasons. Some work has been carried out to alter the kit
to a so called 'taildragger' but this is minimal and can easily be reversed.
Full inventory. No engine. Over =A318,000 invested + professional fees. Make me
an offer. The new factory kits will soon be more expensive.

I have pondered this topic for some time, but feel obliged to refer to other
minds to clarify mine:
To me, Professional is a term dearly bought - a combination of experience,
training and conscience. A professional must often consider his conscience
in the exercise of his trade, sometimes at the expense of his carrer. I
think of police on the beat, doctors, nurses and others of that ilk.
'Commercial.' combines the first two, but the conscience rests with the
boss. A commercial soul does what his boss says, for money.
This is the result of reading of 'The Professional Pallbearers Association'.
and "professional sports". One who carries out the boss's instructions
without conscience is a 'commercial'.
Modern thought opposes Professional with Amateur. This runs counter to the
true meaning of the words. The fact is many of us are amateurs building an
aircraft professionally.
That's what I hope to be doing. Agreed?

Agree,
But "amateurism" has to do with amour, love in French. Professialism means
for a living. These are not nessesarily in opposition. So it's possible to
do a job like an amateur, professionally, which is probably not very
commercial but deliveres just plain good quality.
Cu,

As has been noted a few times before on this list, the English pound
symbol does not travel well, and often materialises as "=A3" after
passage through some e-mail systems. So, in the above-quoted line,
for "=A318,000" read "18000 UK pounds", or, as some people prefer,
"UKP 18k".
regards
Rowland

I'm nearing completion of A162 MG 914T.
I'm in need of Cooling Duct parts 1 through 5 (CD1, 2, 3, 4, 5). If you've got
'em and don't need 'em please contact me.
If you have a 914 already installed and would be so kind as to measure your CD1-5
parts please send me the measurements. I'd sure appreciate the data so I can
make 'em up myself.
And...what's the specs on the metal from which these parts are made?
Thanks in advance.
