Surprise surprise! Lets keep an eye on the forecast and see when it improves. Any suggestions welcome. Best wishes, William ----- Original Message ----- From: "William Mills" Subject: Europa-List: DOTH Friday 17th Dec? > --> Europa-List message posted by: "William Mills" > > Hi All Midweek DOTHers, > Friday looks like the first opportunity weatherwise for quite a long time for a midweek DOTH fly-in. How many of you would be interested in a trip to Huddersfield on Friday 17th Dec. We have had several visits there and are made most welcome. Free voucher in Flyer and there is an excellent pub at the end of the field for lunch. Please let me know if you think you can attend. > Best wishes, > William > > ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:51:26 AM PST US From: "KARL HEINDL" Subject: Europa-List: test --> Europa-List message posted by: "KARL HEINDL" do not archive ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 12:03:33 PM PST US From: "Duncan McFadyean" Subject: Re: Europa-List: DOTH Friday 17th Dec? --> Europa-List message posted by: "Duncan McFadyean" < welcome>> Sunday! Your website has always been a great resource for me during my build. One thing that I have noticed is that while all the horizontal epoxy joints seem to line up, the joggle joint doesn't seem to be fully overlapped. With all things in set, the front lip to the firewall clecoed in place, and the trailing edge of the fin lining up, I still get only about a 60% overlap in the joggle area. That's about a 3/8" (10mm) gap that does not provide strength. Have others had this problem? Is it a problem? Getting closer to bonding on the top and was just a little concerned. Huddersfield is westish, as long as there is no low cloud over the Pennines. Lets confirm on Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
