As I understand it, the AN490HT8P rod end fitting failed due to bending, probably secondary accident damage, the aircraft had had a couple of accidents. Andy is working on a mandatory mod which will hopefully be available late February. We are advised to carefully check the mass balance arm, particularly the AN490 fitting used to adjust it. I suppose this is an example of what can happen when taxi or trailer loads are applied to components designed for flight. I still think the torque tube pin wear is caused by taxi loads. (for the U.S.) To the best of my knowledge, this is the first comprehensive DVD video that explains in detail the complete licensing process for experimental amateur built aircraft - showing what/how to fill out the forms, and also demonstrating new capabilities such as reserving an N number by going online and using the FAA website. I'll leave it at that, as full details are available at the www.HomebuiltHELP.com website. In keeping with the list's guidelines, this will be the ONLY post on this matter, and I hope it was valuable to some Europa builders. Thanks! Hun website www.airmasterpropellers.com is momenteel niet te bereiken. Raar! Groeten, Sjaak. (volop met de motormontage bezig). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Henk Roelofs" Subject: Re: Europa-List: Props > --> Europa-List message posted by: Henk Roelofs > > At 11:47 16-1-05 -0500, "Jim Butcher" wrote: > >>Also, anyone getting responses from Martin at Airmaster?
