If you're in the UK, I'd use Farnell or Maplin - Farnell do an excellent range (and generally cheaper than RS) - Maplin are pretty cheap and chearful. Both have websites, take cards and mail order (Maplin have shops too). If you're in the US, there are loads of mail order suppliers but I'm sure one of our friends over there can recommend the ones which give good service / price. > > From: N55XS > Date: 2005/05/16 Mon AM 03:41:12 GMT > To: europa-list@matronics.com > Subject: Europa-List: 22000 Capacitor > > --> Europa-List message posted by: N55XS > > When it comes to electronics, I'm lost. You want computer-grade aluminum electrolytic; 22-25,000 uf, 25-35 volts. Order a chassis mount flange while you're at it. Parigoris" Subject: Europa-List: Door handle stop? --> Europa-List message posted by: "Ronald J. If the pin bends once the cover is bonded in place, it is not very user friendly to repair. I am thinking I could add a piece of 80 durometer polyurethane under the inner handle bonded to the door to act as a more robust stop that gives a little. Any other ideas? Thx. I have already found a need to open it up. Another thing I did was bond a few layers of carbon fiber inside the base of the door to make it stiffer. I hope this will prevent the door from bulging out in flight due to lateral lift forces from air movement over the door. Many have altered the push rod mechanism to have a third mid door push rod to prevent the bulging. I am not flying yet but my doors are now stiff enough that I think they will not bulge.
