--> Europa-List message posted by: Richard Holder <rholder@avnet.co.uk> PPR actually means "Prior Permission Required". It does NOT mean that you have to phone in advance, contact on the radio before entering the zone is OK. In Pooleys sometimes it says "PPR by phone" which is exactly what it says. "Prior Permission required by phone" Sometimes it is "PPR by phone if non-radio" which is also exactly what it says. Sheffield have a strange requirement to have details faxed to them. Maybe it is because they thought they were a full sized airport once rather than the small GA airport they have become :-) Richard Holder Europa Trigear #51 G-OWWW High Cross

--> Europa-List message posted by: "Duncan McFadyean" <ami@mcfadyean.freeserve.co.uk> There's a useful 2-part monologue by Mike Loehle on painting aircraft generally at: http://www.worldtalkradio.com/playlist.asp?SegmentID=15968 and http://www.worldtalkradio.com/playlist.asp?SegmentID=15969 Quite a bit of 'fluff' packed around it, but some really useful gems nonetheless. --> Europa-List message posted by: "R.C.Harrison" <ptag.dev@tiscali.co.uk> Hi! Mike Simply whatever type is already in the gun ! My bushes happen to be very well aligned so have never known them drag but with the grease I know they aren't wearing ! However it is necessary to wipe out excess grease from inside ......extra weight and all such !!!!!!! NB the grease nipple needs to be on a tube extension and can only exit at about 10 o'clock aft and above the tailplane drive plate. I have also included aerosol lube tubes to each of the four tufnol bearings under the seats. I needed them originally to free them off with brasso due to excessive drag then had to flush them out so left them for future greasing from a Silicone PTFE food lube can. Regards Bob Harrison.
