Only 4 of the 7 messages came thru for Friday's goodie bag, and this is not the first time. Wondering if it was just me. My method is to record test transmissions at home, using my scanner and voice-activated, digital recorder toy. In addition to mix/sub as Nigel suggested, try alternator on/off, low/high RPM, etc. hoping for a diagnostic epiphany back home. Curious to hear your ATC complains over mere noise. Here, that's poor form for ATC people, who now make up to about $80,000 plus a wealth-builder of a retirement arrangement. For that kind of dough, we should simply be either readable or not! I am sure you would qualify, Duncan. If one follows the instructions carefully, it is very easy to use and it does a great job. Best wishes, William Do not archive ----- Original Message ----- From: "Duncan McFadyean" Subject: Re: Europa-List: prop balancer > --> Europa-List message posted by: "Duncan McFadyean" > > > Where can we hire one without the (self) trained operator?! > Europa Club?? > > Duncan McF > do not archive > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Graham Singleton" > To: > Subject: Europa-List: prop balancer > > >> --> Europa-List message posted by: Graham Singleton >> >> >> Rowland wrote: >> Graham - The Europa Club has purchased a prop balancer and it's >> available to all Club members at a modest charge, complete with >> trained operator!
