Seems like much lower friction. For the ends of the sheath connecting to the carbs and throttle lever housing i used fittings from Lockwood . I did not know that the factory fitting would unscrew for reuse! The outer will screw into the other parts at each end. I shall be shortening my cables and lubricating with a special lube as supplied for racing motorcycles. I am told that this is a good solution and will report back here as to what success I get.
