We've been discussing this amongst oursleves for a while now (thanks to those in
the US for their patients). I feel that its time to return to Mr Newby with
an indication of the strength of feeling from those of us that use the forum,
and although this forum does not represent all UK Europa owners, it will give
him a good idea of the level of feeling about using Keith Wilsons pictures in
a magazine which we pay for.

To this end, could everyone who wishes to add their voice please send a brief E-mail
      to

      PFA_representation@hotmail.co.uk

After a week or so, I'll forward the contents of this mailbox to Graham in one
go. Obviously, if you have any friends who are members of the PFA or know other
Europa owners who do not use the forum but would like to add their support,
please ask them to write too - they pay for the magazine as well.

      Peter

      Hi Peter,
As requested, I have sent a message to your proposed address to express my
      feelings.
I consider it would also be beneficial if those members who wrote the
firsthand accounts of KW's dishonest tactics, were to agree for them to be
collected together and sent to Graham Newby and Brian Hope, so that they
      might also be enlightened.
      Best wishes,
      William

      Ron,

This question has been repeatedly asked at the Rotax Seminars at Osh and
      SnF.
The unwavering answer is that the engines have no problem with it. The
      concern
is that other components of the fuel system may swell, or deteriorate with
      Ethanol.
My plane uses ethanol safe hoses, brass and nylon fittings, etc. My plane
      has about 160 Hr
      with no problem.

Lycomings and Continental have problems with gasohol because they still
      use !cork!
gaskets and the binders in the gaskets dissolve in EtOH. Serves em right
      for not changing the
engine design for 50 years. I don't know what Cessna and Piper use in
      their fuel system.

I find it a bit remarkable that there seems little concern
by some over libel here. Under U.S. law at least, it is
mailcious when you seek also to harm the person financially,
so the truth of the charges may not be a defense. Where the
internet is used, anyone in the world can be sued. Mr.
Wilson could make good money by just suing, and settle for
whatever the defendant thinks is less than the legal fees to
      be incurred.

I can understand the anger, but these things can be
      discussed in private emails.
