with tears in my eyes I have sold D-EUPA to a long term builder of a classic
Europa - he developed an allergy, so he can not complete his own. Since he
has already a trailer I have one left sitting at the airport. If somebody is
interested please contact me direct. The price will be 100 Euro and you will
have to fetch it here in Luebeck, Germany.
Regards
Norbert, former D-EUPA

Jim
Will you please pass on my congratulations to Claude - I am delighted for
him with the success of his first flight.
Having visited him at Sun'n'Fun time with Andy Draper I was interested to
see the quality of his workmanship, the dedication to the task and the
'novelty' of his engine fitment.
It shows what can be done when you put your mind to it.
Regards

I dredged this from long past records (the attached URL is long gone), but intend
to research the utility of it when airborne.

Using the mysterious powers of the web I have reincarnated the long deceased web
page. PDF file linked.
Ok ok, nothing mysterious, I googled up the writer and asked nicely for a copy.
Also see attached photos of the new and improved Big Sucker.

Steven,
Here is a pdf of that old page and I can still make and sell them for the same
if I can find the mold.... The newer style is patterned after surface mount ducts
of Gran Prix bikes and is REALLY efficient. They are bigger and more complex
to make but I can sell them at 70.00 if anyone is interested. One had to
be cut in half to work lightly enough on the two place Vision and the four place
guys are putting flapper valves on them to potentially slow airflow.
I hope you have a great time with your project.

Vision
Some will have it.
Some will not.
It's that simple

Hi
You need to make new spacers 1.7" long, the tube will need to clear 3/8"
(mine was .336 ID) bolt and the OD is .500. I think I got the tube from AC
Spruce

914 Builders,
I've been going through the final install and have a question about the
wastgate servo. When I switch on the TCU and it cycles the wastegate the
panel lights(red & yellow) both come on the go off as expected but the servo
does this huming sound like it is trying to do something. Is this normal?
thanks for all advice in advance,

Craig,
I think it is normal, my servo has always made a similar sound. I think it
is just 'hunting' around its commanded position.

MP
