Hi Brian,
There aren't any instructions that detailed. With the rudder and tailplane
fitted, just cut off enough to ensure that the rudder does not foul the
trim tab. Repair the chopped off corner. Dig out a little foam make a good
flox corner and a simple lay-up. Then fit/trim the flettner strips.

Mike.

I might be available to go to Brimpton. I have already used my Enstone
voucher. When we went to Enstone about a week ago they were very helpful
and friendly but it was more a case of tea/coffee and cakes rather than
lunch so we went on to Kemble for lunch and accepted the 8 landing fee.
If Brimpton proves unsatisfactory for food Popham is not far away.

Brimpton looks good to me. I do not recall going there before.
The freebee is in Pilot's April edition. It is a grass strip, and they =
sell snacks. If the snacks are not up to much, we can always move on to
=
Enstone.
Cheers. Bryan

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing trouble with orders from
Aircraft Spruce lately?
They've screwed up 6 of my last 7 orders from them. Things like shipping
nylaflow fittings when I ordered polyflow fittings, sending AN4 hardware when I
ordered AN5 hardware, shipping 21" of SKEET when I ordered 3' of SCAT, shipping
"NO STEP" stickers that were cut so crooked that they were unusable, but not
worth the money to send back, and most recently backordering 1/4" clear PVC
tubing when they admit they have several hundred feet in stock at both locations.
Looks like Wicks is going to start getting a lot more of my business even
though their prices are higher.
Regards,
John Lawton

Hi Bob.
Thanks for the advice. I best wait until I get the tail on then to check
for that clearance. I bought the pre skinned tail. I'll give it a closer
examination when I get home tonight!
Thanks mucho!

Seems to have been a bit quiet on the DOTH front recently! I suggest
Sherburn in Elmet tomorrow, Friday 27/4/06 at 12md or so, to try what is
described as 'excellent catering facilities'. Token in Flyer. Regards, David

Hi! David
A little late I know but I'll take up your suggestion to Sherburn for
the DOTH Friday 12 noon (but it's FRIDAY 28th!)it's more local for me to
do a test flight since I've been tinkering with air cooling issues.
Sorry Bryan your call was too far for my pocket too !

Europaphiles:
No trouble here.
I seem to order something from Aircraft Spruce (or McMaster-Carr or
both) almost every week. I have had almost zero problems with
Aircraft Spruce. The latest order (AN fuel plumbing fittings and
some custom Aeroquip 666 hoses) has been replied to and seems to be
on the way.
I have had some problems with the web site ordering when using my lap
top computer, but only with my lap top (Apple MacIntosh Titanium
Powerbook G4, Mac OS 10.4.6 & Safari browser v2.0.3), not with my
deskside computer (Apple MacIntosh dual G4, Mac OS 10.4.6, Safari
browser v2.0.3). Not sure what the issue is there.
Good building and great flying,
Bob Borger

I recently complained to Spruce about a shipment that was needlessly
split into 2 boxes. I characterized the shipping charges as abusive.
Received a reasonable letter of concern/explanation from management and
the promise of an adjustment for the shipping. All that can be expected.
We'll see how they do in the future.
