Hi Bob,
SF16 is a PFA form available for download from their website, which appears
to be like a mod approval form. Look under engineering standard forms. I am
not an expert in this area but I assume that aircraft types e.g. Rotax
powered Europas, that have been already cleared by the PFA do not require
individual approval for the use of Mogas. Dont know how this affects Jab
powered Europas.

A question for all the uk flyers here.
I've been looking through all the various forms that I will need to send
to
the PFA.
Do I have to send an SF16 (Mogas application) or is it taken as read
that a
rotax will be run on mogas?

Hi,
Ok, I have the PFA Inspector list at hand but as I'm re-building a damaged Europa
I would prefer someone who knows the type well. If anyone is or knows of a
good inspector who knows Europas well in the Northants area in the UK, could
you respond to this message or send me a private message please with their details
please.
Thanks,

Rick - I have amended the Europa Club membership file as requested by
you recently. However, I have no control over anything else you may
be subscribed to, such as the Matronics Euuropa e-mail list. You are
the only one able to switch that off or on (that's how you got on the
list in the first place).
At the bottom of EVERY posting on the Matronics e-mail list you'll
find something like this:
You'll see that subscription management is one of the facilities
offered at the above URL. Depending on your e-mail client software, a
click or double-click on the link will take you to the menu of
features, then follow other link(s) to the subscription area and read
the instructions there to see how to get your various adddresses
subscribed or unsubscribed.
regards
Rowland

David,
It occured to me that you may want to check the Albertville aerodrome
chart at
http://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/html/frameset_aip_fr.htm
As its use is restricted to aircraft based on nearby aerodromes, there
may be some paperwork to deal with.

David,
You're welcome.
The airplane I build with a buddy is based at Vienne (LFHH), a little
south from Lyon. Small grass field (2000 ft runway), 100 LL gas, no
landing fees. Not much hangar room, though.
Do not hesitate to publish your detailed itinerary on the list.

Subject: | Contaminated plastic sheeting, beware |
--> Europa-List message posted by: <rparigor@suffolk.lib.ny.us>
I said it before, figured will mention it again.
The majority of plastic sheeting (visqueen) that can be found in the
states has "Slip" on it.
Slip is some sort of starch/type/a/stuff to prevent sheeting from sticking
together.
Unless someone can convince me otherwise that it is OK to introduce Baby
Powder with perhaps some other (?) to life critical layups, I will not use
sheeting with slip.
You can fairly easily tell, try sticking a piece of clear tape to
sheeting, if it dosen't stick, and leaves a residue, it is most likely
Slip.
Slip coating varies, some have minimal, some a tremendous amount.
Above said, I have read that some Modelers mix resin and baby powder as a
final fill for glass models (some actual like the smell when sanding).
I do not know make up of Slip, it feels to me (I sewed up a 10' x 20'
enclosure to work in hangar (2 layers with bubblewrap between for walls
and clear PVC for front, back doors and ceiling)), and when the stuff gets
on machine and hands, it feels almost like there is wax or similar as
well????
Simple low density polyethelyne, ain't so simple to come by.
I found a source for a little under $7 plus shipping for a 9 x 12 piece 4
mil thick.
