    Subject: Andy Draper
    From: "gerryholland" <gholland@gemini-resourcing.com>
--> Europa-List message posted by: "gerryholland" <gholland@gemini-resourcing.com> It came to my notice this morning that Andy Draper has made a career move, left Europa and as I understand things will be working at or for the PFA. That is good news for us in UK but may cause concern to others farther afield. It shouldn't. The Europa Team are in good shape in UK and I'm sure will be making every effort to fill the technical void left by Andy's move. The operation seems very sound in Yorkshire. I wish Europa well and add to that my thanks and Best Wishes to Andy and his Family. Andy gave me my first flight in a Europa in early 1998. The buying decision was simple after that. --> Europa-List message posted by: "J R Moore" <jrm03@bigpond.com> Thank you Steve for the info. on DAMPING GREASE. Several of us in OZ will have some grease in a few days. Could you please advise if you still use the recommended 8-9 kg dampening stiffness with the grease or is some other figure more suitable John Moore # 142 ----- Original Message ----- From: "steve v." <s.vestuti@virgin.net> Sent: Sunday, May 21, 2006 5:35 AM Subject: Europa-List: RE: Nosewheel Shimmy > --> Europa-List message posted by: "steve v." <s.vestuti@virgin.net> > > Have any trigear builders tried DAMPING GREASE, it is available from > NEWGATE SIMMS LTD. in chester , tel. 01244 660771 , it is available in a > wide range of vicosities althogh i found that grade NYE 774VH OR PG44A > have transformed my streak free castoring nosewheel - it no longer > shimmies at any touch down speed ( 55-65knots no wind) and has not > required tightening in over a year. > > steve vestuti #573 > ---------------- > Visit EuropaOwnersForum http://www.europaowners.org/ > > >

Not all of them are Europa Club members, but you should find full contact details for at least some of them on your Europa Club CD. Most up-to-date member contact info is in the members-only area of the Europa Club website. And what is your kit number, please? I still have you listed as "No Europa"! regards Rowland -- | Rowland Carson (retiring) Europa Club Membership Secretary - email for info! | Europa 435 G-ROWI (750 hours building) PFA #16532 | e-mail <memsec@europaclub.org.uk> website www.europaclub.org.uk

--> Europa-List message posted by: "nigel charles" <nwcmc@tiscali.co.uk> I occasionally fly in to Chicago from the UK and would be happy to meet up sometime if you would like. We use hotels in the downtown area so should not be too far away. --> Europa-List message posted by: "steve v." <s.vestuti@virgin.net> Hi John, on my streak i used normal grease on the shaft that slides into the noseleg, but ,on the LARGE PLASTIC WASHER i Used the "NYEOGEL 774VH" ,a smear on both sides is all that was required - its effect is to "DAMP" the movement of the nose wheel ,the transformation is quite remarkable. i set the force as per the manufacturers instuctions, although you may find a different setting more suitable. steve vestuti trigear # 573 ---------------- Visit EuropaOwnersForum http://www.europaowners.org/
