It came to my notice this morning that Andy Draper has made a career move, left
Europa and as I understand things will be working at or for the PFA. That is
good news for us in UK but may cause concern to others farther afield. It shouldn't.
The Europa Team are in good shape in UK and I'm sure will be making every
effort to fill the technical void left by Andy's move. The operation seems
very sound in Yorkshire. I wish Europa well and add to that my thanks and Best
Wishes to Andy and his Family. Andy gave me my first flight in a Europa in early
1998. The buying decision was simple after that.

Thank you Steve for the info. on DAMPING GREASE. Several of us in OZ will
have some grease in a few days.
Could you please advise if you still use the recommended 8-9 kg dampening
stiffness with the grease or is some other
figure more suitable

I occasionally fly in to Chicago from the UK and would be happy to meet
up sometime if you would like. We use hotels in the downtown area so

Hi John, on my streak i used normal grease on the shaft that slides into the noseleg,
but
,on the LARGE PLASTIC WASHER i Used the "NYEOGEL 774VH" ,a smear on both sides
is all that
was required - its effect is to "DAMP" the movement of the nose wheel ,the transformation
is quite remarkable. i set the force as per the manufacturers instuctions, although
you
may find a different setting more suitable.
