Will there be a link to a PDF of the Alex Bowman's Honda powered Europa article or is it possible to ask Sport Aviation for permission to reproduce the article in a future copy of EF similar to the way the factory has reproduced magazine articles for publicity purposes in the past?? I'm very interested in the cowl design and wheel fairing it just looks right! It seems to me that the solution of Navaid Devices is rather sensitive to interference from communication receivers. EZ Pilot is working with solid-state gyros instead of mechanical gyros and offers connection to the Navaid AP. Any recommendation as to the VDF display vs. LCD display of the EZ Pilot Autopilot in a Europa Cockpit? Any answer very much appreciated. It tracks true and is very stable, even in severe turbulence. Installation is quick and simple and fine tuning takes only a couple of seconds. I chose the VDF display over the LCD, because I like the look better. As long as your installation is not in direct sunlight, you'll have no problems. You'll also find that you don't use the display much, anyway, once you're finished settin up the unit... Jeff - Baby Blue 186 hours and going flying tomorrow... Cliff Yes mine was factory assembled I had never seen them separate otherwise I feel I would have questioned it, However I do know some people that had received spares or repair parts and got them separate. The least I would do in the short term is to replace the roll pin with a through bolt of high tensile quality ensuring that the shank spreads the full intersection of shaft/styrup/yoke hole. I can think of other "belt and braces" ways but I don't want to pre-empt the ultimate outcome, if someone else is going to pay to submit a mod I would probably run with it. Whatever, I have time on my hand at present ! BTW anyone know where there is a slightly used 914 for sale to a good home ?
