Does anyone know of a US source for a tail plane pip pin? The markings on it are
AVK BLS4R17N. It measures 1/4" diameter and the length from the head to the
balls is 1 3/4". Seems to be a non standard size. I have one that doesn't
reliably lock.
Thanks
Jim Butcher

Nextel during computer swap (leicester way I think ) can anyone help
out.

Bob,
William, Bryan and I tried to get there last week. We couldn't see it as
it was covered in cloud. Bryan couldn't get airborne due to cloud but W
& I diverted to Barton instead which was OK as we told them it was a
weather diversion and we enjoyed a free landing anyway.
I did phone early in the day and there was someone at Huddersfield so it
is definitely not closed when the cloud is high enough.
Richard.

We tried, Bob, but the cloud was down to the ground so Richard and I both
diverted to your favourite smoooooth airfield not far away. M B.
We had no response from Huddersfield radio, so cannot answer your query.
Hope you are progressing with your recent problem.
Wishing you all the best,
William
