I got the info using google and the part number so I've no idea if they're
any good but if you're stuck, give them a call.

Volunteers wanted
The PFA have been asked to exhibit at Farnborough this year. The stand
will be run on Friday 21st July.
As part of this I have been asked to set up an exhibit of composite work
and a small demonstration. You will be needed to work on the stand for
two sessions (AM and PM) of about 2 hour each. Much of this time will
be spent talking to people but you will be expected to do some simple
glass lay-ups. I will organise the moulds, materials, gloves etc.
Free entry tickets will be provided.
Please contact me direct if you can help. Let me know what time you can
arrive and the departure time that suites you

Jim,
You can always try the old standby for such things, McMaster-Carr.
( http://www.mcmaster.com/ ) They have a very wide range of pip-
pins available. I obtained replacement wing spar pins through them
(back when there was no Europa to help). I bet you can find tail
pins as well.
Good building and great flying,

Thanks for the reply Richard and William,
I was there about a month ago and there was a new mess cabin just set up
and so didn't look like closing in the near future.
I'm just off in the caravan to Appletreewick then on to Windermere for
the rest of the week I'll give them a call when I'm back and advise.

Bob,
William, Bryan and I tried to get there last week. We couldn't see it as
it was covered in cloud. Bryan couldn't get airborne due to cloud but W
& I diverted to Barton instead which was OK as we told them it was a
weather diversion and we enjoyed a free landing anyway.
I did phone early in the day and there was someone at Huddersfield so it
is definitely not closed when the cloud is high enough.
Richard.

Hello All,
This is passed on courtesy of John at EA2004 - they are unable to attend
but someone here may be able to get up to the Baltic for the 30 June to 2
July. If anyone is interested please contact Aldona direct.
Thanks,
Dave
<<<<<<
Hi Dave,
The Polish people I spoke to you about are into promoting major events in
the region.
It seems to me that they are mainly into the big golf tournaments. They have
offered to meet any expenses
incurred if they can get a couple of aircraft over there. The tournament
will take place at a
spot on the Baltic coast called Wejherovo - apparently it's a popular
holiday area June 30 to July 2.
If anybody is interested, the contact in Poland is a lady called Aldona
Mioduszewska. She is
the PR Manager for the company and speaks excellent English. I will be
speaking to her today
and will put her in the picture. The Poles met Trevor Pond when they were
over here and were
keen to get either him or other Europa flyers to go to Poland and put the
Europa on display.
It could be a good weekend for someone - particularly as they are prepared
to cover expenses!

Subject: | club subs unpaid |
--> Europa-List message posted by: Rowland Carson <rowil@clara.net>
The Editor has told me that the June issue of the Europa Flyer is on
its way to the printers, so in a couple of days, as one of my final
duties as Europa Club Membership Secretary, I'll be printing off the
address labels for all paid-up members of the Europa Club to receive
their copies. Pretty soon after that Brian Davies takes the reins,
and you'd better watch out, 'cos I'm sure he's gonna run a tight
ship! :-)
Alas, in preparing to print the labels, I find that there are 60
members from whom I've not yet had a renewal payment for 2006-2007.
Some of those had agreed to set up a Standing Order, but we've
received nothing from them this year. Maybe some folks meant to renew
but somehow forgot. We won't make a big deal out of it - just pay up
& all will be forgiven!
If your name appears in the list below, there is just time to get in
touch with me and get your subs paid before I print the labels.
If you don't wish to renew (maybe you sold your Europa?), it'd also
be good to hear from you, so I don't keep wasting my time & yours
chasing after you.

I sprayed Nextel (isocyanate-based) wet-on-wet to 2K gloss (used as a
colour-base/primer). The bond is excellent and it takes a knife to scrape it
off.
The substrate to the 2K was 2-pack primer-filler.

There are still a couple of slots available for the Lydeway Fly-In on
1st July (backup date 2nd if the weather is bad). This is not an event
restricted to Europa aircraft so if anyone out there has the use of an
aircraft over that weekend and would like to attend please let me know
as soon as possible. The information sheet for pilots attending will be
sent out this weekend.
