They should be useful for anyone touring there. I'd buy the rolls of wire from there and the odd lengths of screened and very large diameters (for the master & avionics bus) from Matthew. You can also get lengths from E-bay - most of it comes from the US but its really not expensive to post. I just didn't want to climb around in the back of the thing with the top on to finish all of the little bits. Great to hear the top can be put on later. Then when cured the layup comes off the taped mold. Then peel the peel ply off the new part and it is ready to bond, no sanding. It appears as though the rubber bushings cracked themselves into two halves, as did the aluminum "L bracket" which attaches one of the rubber bushings to the engine block. This is just a note to all 912 and 914 pilots out there to keep an eye on these bushings for possible future problems. Because of the engineering/packaging, they are an absolute nightmare to change out, without disassembling half the entire engine........just to get to the *#$% nuts and bolts. Out of curiosity, has anyone else experienced a problem with these rubber bushings breaking? I have about 450 hours over 6 years on this engine.
