A stuck rudder will induce a heavy roll...did you consider this a
possibility??? Right rudder needed on takeoff will result in right roll
tendency in flight.

Had the opportunity to try a safety wire hint I read somewhere a while
back.
Barrel roll with wings level
Works great!
If you simply twist safety wire, there is a bit of spring back that makes
for less than perfect tightness. If you pull hard on pliers and do
exaggerated circles (do not twist plierss) ((wings level)) in direction to
tighten twists, it makes for nice.
