Our syndicate is currently carrying out the taildragger conversion using the
Swiss carbon fibre type undercarriage leg.
The aircraft is a classic, with a 912S with the XS firewall forward kit and
upgraded gross weight mod.
I wondered where other builders of this type had put their battery for best
c of g position, i.e. under the cowls , or under the extended baggage bay
area.
Also, has anyone souced ready made leg fairings and spats for this
conversion, from an existing aircraft which may fit with slight alterations
?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks,
Paul.

My tips are rounded because I nicked one of then in moving the airplane around
on the ground. I radiused the edge and made all the rest look the same as the
affected tip. Many people have done this.

I have an Airmaster with warp drive blades. I note that some people have rounded
off the corners on the tips of their warp drive blades. Is this just for cosmetic
/ safety reasons or is there any increase in performance by doing this?

Admittedly in the ACS 2005-2006 catalogue there are two
types of Tinnerman washers shown.
One is spring steel, the other stainless.
I think what I received last time were thicker and
aluminium. I could look it up ...

I have some tinnerman washers the ouside diameter is .625. Would be
suitable for cowling screws. Part Number is NAS1169C10. Google for it.
Even the Europa Classic Baggage Bay Mod came up. Plenty of hits.

Subject: (SPAM) Europa-List: Tinnerman Washers
Hi Folks,
I'm in need of some of those nice Tinnerman washers Europa provided
with my kit.
These were shiny (I assume stainless steel), chrome-like in appearance
with very thin edges - almost sharp.
The ones I got from Aircraft Spruce were stainless steel but kind of
dull gray steel in appearance with thick edges, maybe 10-20 thou.
I use them for my cowl retention and noticed one missing (must have
forgotten to tighten it).
Does anyone recommend a source?

Has anyone added loops, handles or ?? to either the back or bottom seat
cushion to aid its dual purpose as a flotation devise?
Instead of markings:
Europa Aircraft
Could be:
Europa Air raft
