He would probably be up for a get-totether. His e-mail is below. I think he has about 130 hours on his plane. If you arrange something, let me know. We are always interested. On another topic, we got tickets for a concert at the airport on November 4. I have 4 and more can be had if necessary. If Dean and his wife wanted to come down, I could pick up 2 more. He could put his plane in my hangar. >From your point of view, it is Country music, the lead group is "Shedaisy" from Nashville and the gates open at 10:00 AM. Lynne and I plan to go. I have no idea if you like US Country music or not, but the concerts are always a good time. From my point, I'm not nuts about country music, but as long as they have beer and hamburgers, it is OK. This is the first one they have hosted at the airport, so I have no idea how it is going to come off. Also, the guy who wrote you, or Tony, may be interested. The tickets can be had for no charge for the next 10 days or so, so if there is interest let me know and I can pick them up. Worked some on my trailer for the plane today and the lift for the new sailboat last week. I'll sure be glad when those two projects are done. Let me know when and I'll try to get the time to go. Haven't been doing much flying lately. Just for what its worth, I had to get my plane appraised for the business from a professional aircraft appraisal company, this guy was pretty strict on paperwork and logs, and it came in at $85,000. Would have liked it a little higher but what do you expect from a place that appraises million dollar jets ect. After removing the TP5 I realized that there was no point at all in removing the TP6. It is only necessary to ensure that it cannot move inboard, which would then allow the TP12 to disconnect from the tailplane etc. etc. I simply replaced the TP5 with a longer alu tube from ACS, part number 03-37900. This butts right up against the TP6, and there is no way this can ever move inboard. The tube is made of 6061 T6 aluminum. Advantages: A straightforward mod. No cutting into the tailplane. No misalignment problem with TP5 and TP6. A permanent solution. ( assuming that there was a problem in the first place.) If anyone is interested I can give more details on how I did it.
