Does anyone have a good way to get the track data out of my Skymap 111c
and into Memory map?
I can download the data from the 111C using FliteStar (the only thing I
know that will talk to the 111c). FliteStar will also save it in a text
file and display it in a crude fashion.
I would like to get the data into Memory Map which does a better job of
displaying the results and has both the CAA charts and the 50,000 OS
maps. This will handle a number of formats but not what I get from
FliteStar.
I have looked at GPSBabel which might do the conversion but is so
complex I have yet to work out how.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi Ian,
Exactly where should we look. I looked at Europa-aircraft.co.uk,
europaclub.org.uk, pfa.org.uk, and
caa.co.uk/docs/536/MPD%202007005%20REV%201.pdf
All I could find is a note under Latest News in Europa-aircraft.co.uk
Cheers,
Karl

Will,
Have a look at:
http://www.europaowners.org/modules.php?set_albumName=album164&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php
Or if the link doesn't work, go to the 2nd page of the gallery and look for my
photo album. The fuel system is in an album of it's own.
I used R9 fuel injection hose where I need the rubber stuff, and aluminum tube
(3/8" versatube) everywhere else. I have an Andair fuel selector and gascolator
as well. I just got in my Floscan fuel flow sensor that will be installed this
weekend and will go just before the rear fuel filters.
Right now I have dual fuel filters both in the seat pans and just prior to the
gascolator. This may seem like over-kill but after I have 25 or so hours on the
plane, I may remove the rear filters and just rely on the ones up front. I put
everything on bread boards so they're easy to remove.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Dan

Hi, Having just read SB15, Does anyone know if the Factory are supplying the "degreaser"
and if not, what are other builders using?, i would think some sort
of airosol might be best, also, the hanger is fairly cold and damp this time of
year so does the T/T need to be warmed with a hair dryer B4 applying 603 or
not?

I note the reference in the SB to how quickly Loctite 603 sets up. I've
heard this before and have done some tests w/ aluminum flat stock and
have found 603 to have a working life of over five minutes at 60 +/-
degrees F. This would seem like plenty of time, at least for anyone
like myself who has yet to bond the fuselage top on, to apply a goodly
amount of 603 to the torque tube, spin TP9 a bit to spread a nice film,
and drive the pins home before set up. Seems to me the essence of this
SB is for the loctite bond to take the torsional/impact loads rather
than the drive pins...if that's so, why skimp on the 603?
