Dear Listers, Here in the United States, Thursday is our National day of Thanksgiving. Many of us will be traveling to be with our families and friends to share in generous feasts of plenty and giving thanks for many blessings that have been bestowed upon us. Many Listers have expressed over the last couple of weeks how thankful they are for the Email Lists and Forums here on the Matronics servers and for all of the assistance and comradery they have experienced being a part of the Lists. One of my favorite kind of comments is when write to me and says something like, "Its the first thing I do in the morning while I'm having my morning coffee!". That's a wonderful tribute to the purpose and function of these Lists. Its always great to hear I'm not the only one that jumps out of bed each morning to check my List email!! Won't you take a minute today and show your appreciation for these Lists and for their continued operation and upgrade? The List Contribution Site is: http://www.matronics.com/contribution Thank you in advance for your kind consideration, Matt Dralle Matronics Email List Administrator ________________________________ Message 1 _____________________________________ Time: 12:38:13 PM PST US Subject: Re: Europa-List: covered trailers From: "steve v " Hi Paul, These people manufacture an enclosed Europa trailor, they will email you pictures and prices, just make sure you are not holding a hot cup of tea when you read the prices, steve #573 G-CEBV Visit - www.EuropaOwners.org ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 12:49:47 PM PST US From: "Fergus Kyle" Subject: Europa-List: Battery voltage monitor This, for those who haven't installed a $luxury$ accessory to give some indication of battery condition, is a possible simple addition. We put this together for the radio club cars, but it might easily be adapted to the Europa. It gives the voltage (and thus the state of alternator support) every 0.5 volt. Over 14 volts is one led, five more give a range of 11.5 to 14, and oneannounces below 11.5. A piezo chime beeps below 12 to 11.5 and steady below that It's Aussie, from www.futurlec.com and costs about CA$14*, US$9 or 5quid, and takes about one hour to solder 21 bits together onto a 2x2inch PC board.
